Hmm, Canadian politicians are having a tough time lately not running their mouth's off in front of reporters about America. I doubt this will get as much attention as the "morons" comment did, but still, wtg!

Well the fact is that where are some people up here share the same feeling about americans in general as some of the europeans and it gets a little bit worse every time your politicians blocks, bans or otherwise outlaws canadian exports.

Hell, I mention f'ing americans a few times a week even outside of an EQ content.

I have heard that when we have taken the last team in the NHL from Canada that we will change the rules to replace the puck with a ball, remove the ice and replace it with astroturf, remove fighting, hire only blind and/or retarded referees, and change goals to 6 points each so that it at least LOOKS like there is scoring involved.

I tend to generalize about Americans sometimes too, but I try not to, because it makes me no better than some of the bigots on this board who do the same about every muslim, arab, etc, etc. I know for a fact there are some very excellent Americans out there 8)

"Damn Americans … I hate those bastards."
"My comments do not reflect my personal opinion of the American people and they certainly do not reflect the views of the government of Canada," she said in her written statement.

Correct me if i am wrong but wouldn't the use of the word I in I hate those bastards indicate that that is her personal opinion of the American people?

If i say "I hate hamburgers" isn't that my personal opinion about hamburgers?

Canadian Politicians are no better than American ones.. fucking back pedaling liars..

Disclaimer - The above statement does in fact reflect my personal opinion of canadian and american politicians

I never even had a negative thought towards a Canadian until I saw all of the USA bashing on this board from Canadians. Just shows how weak I am I guess, but it's the truth.

US bashing occurs because most of the world outside the US understands that dubya is a complete moron. It could be argued that his idiocy is what provokes these types of statements.

hmm Since the US is so bad and we are all bastards maybe we should solo for awhile and when countries come asking and crying for help we call them names and tell them all to fuck off.

Cut off the foriegns aid and everything else we fucking do for others.

You have any idea how much your economy would suffer if you "went solo" for a while? Face it.. The US needs the world as much as the world needs the US.

Hell, Take a look around you. 90% of the stuff you consume in your everyday life is manufactured outside the US.

And 90% of the shit made in the world is bought by the U.S. So I think the World would be a little more effected then the U.S.

Isolationism probably isn't the answer, but it sure is fun to think about.

That 90% of consumer goods that we import could be manafactured right here at home. It would ease the unemployment rate greatly to pull back and refuse to import goods for awhile. There's nothing that says we HAVE to import products, other than a demand for cheap, quick access to those goods.
