iTunes questions

I have been trying to figure out where my OS drive space has been going, and I finally saw that it was being eaten up by iTunes. Can I just drag-and-drop the iTunes Music folder to my music storage drive and point iTunes towards it without losing info? Also, has anyone been using any program or app to transfer music/podcasts/video to an Android phone? Samsung Kies has only worked once for me, and an app I found would just move music if it was in a playlist within iTunes. I'm just looking for something easier than windows explorer.
