People Finding

I'm looking for a family member I haven't heard from in 30+ yrs and I have name, bd and a few places where they've lived. I'm pretty sure most of the people finding web sites finds this person, but of course to get the details you have to pay. I found one that only wanted $4 so I paid it and it gave me some seriously out of date information. (A phone number that isn't theirs anymore and an address which on some maps doesn't even exist)
Anyone have any personal experiences with any of these sites to be able to recommend one as good? I've considered Spokeo but they're like $40 for a full report. I'll be pissed if I pay $40 and get the same useless out of date info.
I've already done the normal online searches, this person isn't likely a computer user so those aren't helpful.
