New computer monitor

I am thinking of getting a new computer monitor, at the moment I have a 26 inch Samsung with about 4 years behind it, I need something at least the same size but preferably bigger. Any good suggestions?

What res are you looking for? What graphics card will be supporting it? What's your price range? Do you support the legalization or marijuana in the United States?
