Incredible cd, Davey has been taking lots of voice lessons it sounds like, one thing that is kind of dissapointing is the lack of Whoas, something that was a staple in the earlier CD's. The CD is going to be released on march 11th, I definitely reccomend picking it up if your even a minor fan of AFI.

AFI is pretty good. Very high-energy music that is always fun for a long drive. I look forward to seeing them at this year's Warped Tour. Wow, so many new albums this year:

NOFX - May
Death By Stereo - April
Lagwagon - April
Boy Sets Fire - April

and many more!

Nice to know some of you still enjoy the warped tour.

I'm getting pretty sick of that scene.

Been to the ones in Montreal in 96(the first one), 98, 2000, 2001,2002

So i saw a shit load of bands just with theese venues but it's getting so big and soo mediatised now that crowds are getting out of proportion and I always loved little intimate punk concerts with 3-4 groups in some kind of bar or whatever.

When you go to the warped tour nowadays you get a really NICE band listing. BUT, they only play a 30 mins set and while your favorite band is playing you might have your second favorite band playing on some other lesser stage fucking up your experience of the tour and ending up pissing you off because you can`t be in 2 places at once.

Back to the topic AFI does kick ass they give a high energy show and i saw em with boy sets fire and thursday like 2 years ago.
Really enjoyed the show.

I heard AFI for the first time on the weekend and I have a hard time believing people can actually listen to that crap... are they supposed to be some emo/goth crossover type band? I felt very uncomfortable listening to it.

I don't care if the lead singer is gay, Girl's Not Grey is the best song I've heard out of the genre in months!

Yeah, Warped Tour is not even close to watching a band at a small venue. I have been to the last 3, but I am not so excited about it anymore.

i miss sublime. if brad didn't die, i could just imagine how much more good music there'd be available.

p.s. i agree, the new ataris album's really good. the remakes are excellent. i just caught their show in cleveland, and it was very impressive. they've came a long way.
