HOMM 6

Post by Avestan »

I am a sucker for Heroes of Might and Magic so I picked this up. Anyone playing? Should we launch a new forum yet?

Let me know how it is. I played 1-3 and 5 (wasn't a huge fan of 5 though). I LOVED 1-3 though. Did they happen to go back to the old style, or at least improve on 5?

Loved Homm 2-3. 4 was ok.

Homm 3 was the best i think.

I always want to like Heroes of Might and Magic games, but I always get this notion in my head that I want to explore every tile and get all the cool stuff before taking over the last castle or finishing the last mission objective. Then once I'm satisfied, I head on over and the garisson in the fort has 2 stacks of 1500 archers each and im like FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Yeah I agree with that :) I have not quite figured out the metagame that they want you to play to be successful, but I think speed is a big part of it.
