Free\cheap web hosts & DNS

Vz has gotten stupid with their residential web hosting, any suggestions for free\cheap web hosting + domain reg?
All I'm looking for is a host for my minuscule website & DNS to point at it. Suppose I might as well do mail forwarding while I'm at it.
