Battle Creek, Michigan had a tornado touch down and cause some pretty significant damage last night. I was sitting at my PC monitoring the storm as it happened. It rained really hard at my house, but there was very little wind at all. Shortly after the storm passed, my Facebook was lit up with friends posting pictures of the damage. Trees completely uprooted, houses and cars smashed by falling trees, power lines and poles down all over town, and several businesses have been demolished. Pretty amazing to think this all happened so close to my house!

Here's a youtube someone took right after the storm. For some reason it has a heavy metal soundtrack? Whatever. It's worth a look for sure. This is only one side of town, but it's pretty bad. It looks like a bomb went off! Most places will be without power until Wed night at the earliest.

lol, figures someone from Michigan would put video from a recent tornado to some heavy metal...and it turns out to be an insurance business doing it, not some regular joe. Classy!

There has been a lot of tornados right around the area I live the last few weeks, but none in our neighborhood. There was some golf ball or bigger sized hail last weekend that fucked up the roof on my parents house. It's rained damn near every day for about a month too, it's starting to get old.
