My god, how the hell did this get 12 academy nominations.


I was pretty excited to see it, with all the hype it had and great reviews I didn't think I could go wrong. Well I went today and...

...I walked out after the first 40 mins of the movie, but I wanted to leave earlier. I kept giving it another chance, and another, etc...But it was just too horrible. I think its the only time ive ever walked out of a movie.

All the movies up for best picture deserve it except Chicago(yeah ive seen em all), and it stole a nomination from the most deserving film of '03, 'Adaptation'.

Oh, and im not biased against musicals, Ive enjoyed plenty of good ones...this one just sucks ass.

Maybe I missed the best parts by walking out, but frankly I would rather have my teeth pulled than go through those 40 minutes ever again.
