My neighbors' 24 year old was at the house yesterday afternoon talking to my daughter when she was over, complaining that while "he isn't gay anymore" no women will have anything to do with him when they find out about his ~8 years of buttseks.

Can't blame them, it is essentially playing russian roulette until he's been buggery free for 6 (12?) months and been screened. Even then there are issues, can't give blood, insurance costs(?), etc...

In his particular case when he went out of his way to make sure everyone in the world knew he was gay I thought he was doing it for attention. I've known him since he was ~12, he's done similar things his whole life. A couple people noted that his disappointment was obvious with every person who wasn't outraged or upset.

Getting rammed in the ass by dudes sure seems like an extreme way for a straight guy to be an attention whore. That is serious dedication to carry it out for 8 years......

Not sure, I was thinking of the time it takes to be able to detect an infection w\ Hep C or HIV. 99% of cases are detectable @ 3 months and it scales up from there, but never hits 100% (iirc).

I believe the CDC tags you as potentially infected for life. Hence the blood donor restrictions for needle sharers, etc... That's the difference between the "have you ever..." and "in the last 5 years have you..." questions at the bloodmobile.

I'd assume the people he's attracted to aren't going to be the one in the submissive role. See that in plenty of straight relationships. Buggery optional.

Being a "bottom" as a male does not mean you're getting pegged by the female. It can on the extreme end of play, but generally it just means the person is taking a submissive role in the sex and the other is leading, instructing, and being the all around aggressor in the situation. The term "bottom" in sexual play is a very general term. For instance, just by having the woman on top during sex, you are technically a "bottom" in the same way that tieing your partner to the headboard with a silk scarf is also technically "bondage". Everything just gets more extreme from there, but the same terminology is used no matter where you are in the spectrum.

I don't think having the woman on top during sex automatically makes the man the bottom in the encounter. It just depends who's controlling the action. It's possible to top from the bottom.
