Hmmm get to keep games even if no Xbox Live. PS+ users get to keep their games even if sub lapses? Better value?
Then MS is screwing their XBO customers since it works EXACTLY THE SAME WAY AS PS+. But you knew that, right?

4 Vita Games, 4 PS3 games, and 2 PS4 games. I think this is the best month yet, thanks in large part to that cross buy power. I will never buy a PSN or Vita game though. I'm glad I never bought Fez despite some good sales in the past!

Which isn't even relevant anyhow, because both consoles basically require you pay for the membership to be functional. Sad troll attempt even for him.

I already own Crimson Dragon. It's a pretty on rails shooter with pretty crappy story telling and it average on gameplay at best.

Really looking forward to Strike Suit Zero.

To prepare for next month's Dragon Age: Inquisition (out November 18 for PC/PS3/PS4/XB1/360), EA's giving out the first game in BioWare's fantasy RPG series for the price of absolutely nothing. Right now.

You'll need an Origin account to download a free copy of Dragon Age: Origins, but hey, it's a great game, and it's totally free. The promotion will only be available until October 14, BioWare says, but you'll get to keep your copy forever, so act fast

Any good deals so far? I picked up Shadow of Mordor (PS4) for $25 but could have gotten it for $20 on PC. I threw in Lego Marvel something or other for $15 just so I could get free shipping.

The only other thing I got was a a 250GB Samsung 840 EVO for $110 from NewEgg which includes Far Cry 4 for no additional charge. Basically got the drive for $50 which seemed like a good deal. They had the 500GB version for $190 I think but that was more than I wanted to spend. 250GB is good enough for an OS drive.

I almost bit on AC Rogue for $25 but just couldn't do it knowing there will more than likely be a PS4 version in 6 months.

Nothing so far. I was going to suggest anyone interested in Star Citizen go buy a special $20 package that included starter ship, beta access and 2 years of ship insurance but they sold out before I even woke up so I didn't even get one.

I'll keep an eye on cyber monday offers.

The best I saw on PS+ was $40. Not sure where that was though.

Oh and NewEgg has the Dualshock 4 for $38. Amazon has them at $40.

If anyone plays Pinball FX2 (or would like to) on PC and wants to get 16 or so tables on the cheap then stop by and pick up this weeks Humble Bundle. You can get all the ones shown there for $6. Although giving more to charity never hurts!

That will get you a bunch of the soundtracks too.

Electronic Arts is giving away a trio of its PlayStation games for free to celebrate this weekend's PlayStation Experience, EA chief operating officer Peter Moore announced at Sony's event today.

The following games will be free on Sony's PlayStation Store from 12 p.m. PT until Sunday, Dec. 7: Need for Speed: Most Wanted for PlayStation Vita, Mirror's Edge for PlayStation 3 and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for PlayStation 4.

Wow, thanks for the heads up! Need For Speed on the Vita is a great free game. I can't believe they're giving away PvZ Garden Warfare too! Even though I have that on the Xbone, I grabbed it again to have a digital version. There's no way in hell I'm giving up all that work for unlocks on the Xbone version and starting over though.

I already owned NFS: Most Wanted on the PC and downloaded the free Vita copy. I have to say that it's a pretty amazing port of the game. It loads really quickly to boot as well.

Any Autolog score that you're amassed on any other version of the game carries over and since I had well over a million on the PC already, I was able to knock out every Most Wanted Racer and get their car without having to bother with any other race for a few easy trophies and a credit roll X)

Possibly Tales of Xilla 2 for PS3 just because I have the first one. I'd rather have a physical version of that if I can though, so I'll probably pass.

I did pick up Super Stardust for PS4 as well as Seasons 2 & 3 for Pinball Arcade on PS4 though. It has a motherfucking Champion Pub table. Just...fuck that's amazing.

Pneuma: Breath of Life is the current game with gold freebie.

It's a fun little indy game and is probably the easiest 1000 gamerscore I've done. 11 Achievements, 850 points just for playing through the game. The last 150 for specials that are easily done.

The Xbox 360 store isn't browsable on the Xbox One itself. You have to buy it on the web or the xbox 360 and then it should show up in your ready to install section of the Xbox One.
Note that you need to have the new Upgrade (Coming Nov 12th) or be in the preview program to be able to get backwards compatibility.

That being said, I'm not seeing Dirt 3 now. Perhaps it'll go live with Back Compat on Nov 12th with the official release of the new dash.

I didn't have much time to shop over the holiday so only picked up 4 games.

Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition (Best Buy) - $20
Assassin's Creed Unity (Amazon) - $10 (Hopefully it's been fixed by now!)
Wolfenstein The New Order (PSN digital) - $8.10
The Order 1886 (PSN digital) - $9

I would have preferred to have gotten them all physically but $17 for the two seemed like a good deal.

Haven't posted here in awhile.. But here's a bunch of decent deals on PS4 (and PS3/Vita) games.

Some of my recommendations for PS4:

A Boy and his Blob $2.49
Lords of the Fallen $6 - I heard it wasn't that bad? In a Dark Souls kind of way? Not something i'd buy but seems a decent price.
Stories: The Path of Destinies $6 - Heard good things about this so will probably pick it up
Super Stardust Ultra $3.24 - House Marque!
Tales From the Borderlands $4.50 - No brainer!
Volume $5

Oh and an update. I have played exactly ZERO of these games! $47.10 well spent?

Still haven't played a single one of those games.

However, PSN is having a 4 week sale. That is a new sale every week for 4 weeks. It may be too late for you to get in on Week 2 but check back in on Tuesdays to see the new deals! I've picked up a few games in the past two weeks for a decent price. I do prefer physical games but when stuff is like $5 or whatever it makes it hard to pass up.

I actually picked up an xbox one S this past weekend with all the microsoft fire sales going on. 1TB battelfield green one, with a free game, and like $30 xbox live card, for $300. Figured why not, I got a check in the mail unexpectedly, and was sick and tired of buying everyone else nice shit for christmas, decided it was time for some me spending!

Two notes...the controller is so much better, still, than sony's. BUT, the left joystick on the xbox controller makes my thumb sore. Weird.

Great game if you like competitive first person shooters that are fun. All 23 heroes (and future heroes) unlocked, no need to pay anything else. Outstanding game balance and map design.

Humble has their FREEDOM BUNDLE where $30 gets you a bunch of things. At least for the next two days.. Act fast! There is a lot of filler there but Stardew Valley and Witness are fairly solid for the price. A few others in there as well but I have most of those on PS4 already.
We humbly remember that the United States is a nation of immigrants, and we proudly stand with developers, authors, and charities that champion liberty and justice for all.

This special one-week bundle features over $600 in incredible games and books for just $30. 100% of your payments will go to the American Civil Liberties Union, the International Rescue Committee, and Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Humble Bundle will proudly match your contributions up to $300,000.

We chose these three organizations because of the inspiring work they do in providing humanitarian assistance to refugees and displaced people as well as in defense of justice, human rights, and civil rights

Stardew Valley is worth it alone. I've probably sunk 100 hours into that easy. Played through the witness, too. I might throw a couple dollars at it just for the cause.

I was interested in SV but was waiting for it to come to console. Apparently it doesn't translate to a controller in the greatest fashion. The Witness will probably just make me feel dumb.

Either way I went ahead and purchased it. No idea when I'd get around to playing any of these games but I figured why not.

The controls didn't get in the way for me, some things can be slightly clunky but nothing major.

Xbox has their Spring Sale going on right now and there's a ton of great stuff at 50% off or more..

My pickup last night was Catherine for Xbox 360 back compat for 3.99$ CDN. I had wanted to buy this when it launched and had been keeping an eye our for it. Saw it a few times for 20 but Still was unsure. Having it for under 5 is a steal.

What a weird, weird game from the 2 hours I put into it so far.
