to remove Messenger, go to the Control Panel and select Programs and Features
in the list, select Windows Live Essentials and then click on the Change/Remove option..
Or uncheck the top box:
kindly do the needful and mail five dollah to India for this support!

Doesn't this get ninja-installed when you visit the Live website to check Hotmail, etc? Really fucking annoying!

"Please do the needful" is a common expression in the India area so it comes as no surprise you'd hear it a lot if that's where your support is based out of.
"Do the needful" is an expression, now archaic or used humorously except in South Asian English, which means "do that which is requisite or necessary". Although sometimes parodied as a staple of contemporary South Asian English, the expression was current in both British and American English well into the early 20th century.
