Boston College beats Miami
It might be that I'm from New England (and therefore biased), but that play is still the most amazing finish I've ever seen to a college football game. I still remember when Miami was driving for their go ahead score. At one point, Bernie Kosar hit Eddie Brown and the BC defenseive back had him by the leg. As Brown was dragging him along for a few more yards, I remember thinking "just let go of him": there was no doubt Miami was going to score - it was just one of those games, with over 1000 yards of total offense - so it was more a matter of clock preservation at that point. BC got the ball back with under 30 seconds left (IIRC): the rest is history.
