OMG I love this game! Has anyone else played it?

As a girl, the jigglies and stuff don't do anything for me, but once I realized that there were over 300 different bathing suits to collect (not to mention all the cute accessories) it felt like having Barbies again!!

Haven't played that one yet, but DOA is one of the few games I do enjoy.

I wish the volleyball part was more fun. In that respect I think Beach Spikers on gamecube is a better game.

Collecting all the outfits is pretty fun, and I'm sort of a fan of Japanese culture, so the gift giving and relationship aspect appeals to me.

It's just boring to play the actual volleyball.

I considered buying a X-box so I could get this game.

Back in the days of super nintendo (or was it plain nintendo?) I had a 4 person beach volleyball game...it was my favorite sports game...I think that one was all guys tho.

DOA Vball is 4-player right? Have you played it 4-player yet? Was it fun?

buy tina the crab and the doughnuts, any of the guns or the xbox to make her like you more. for accesories get her the blue or leopard shoes, the panther wristband or the straw hat.

any hairclip or the knives and she will like you less. if you give her zack's autographed pic she will really get pissed. actually all the girls hate zack's autograph.

Yeah I printed out a cheat of all the "love" items, but it seems like you have to give her a lot more than the other girls to get her to team up with you. I did not know she likes those accessories though! Thanks

I guess because they are DOA chicks, but still it's just kinda funny to like have a volleyball game with a bunch of chicks in tiny bikini's and buy them guns and knives..I knew about the bathing suits etc..

Can you play a guy character? I didn't think you could, but your buying other players "love items"?

"Love" items are just items the characters love. Each one has her own likes & dislikes. The instruction book has a little bio much like you'd find in Playboy to give you some clues, but there is some cheat info out there to tell you. You give the other characters gifts they like so they will like you & play with you if you ask. Note that this is only the case when you play in Zack's Island mode (you play one character & she earns $ for winning games which she can use in the shops. Its got kind of a story with it.).

They were supposed to have some stuff in the final game that they didn't for some reason, like a beauty contest, life-guard training (lip locking hehe), and I think a dancing contest.

Too bad cause I need some more ways to earn money. The hopping game just doesn't bring in enough to buy the cutest bathing suits.

you can gamble for money. its set up basically so there's tricks to the system you can do to earn money fairly reliably.

Xbox is definitely worth the cash if you aren't broke. I like my PS2 better but Xbox has some pretty cool games that aren't on any other system, and usually when a game comes out on Xbox and PS2, the Xbox version is better. Also when you are done with it you can hollow it out and use the shell for a guest house.

I was thinking about getting it but I'll probably rent it first. DOA3 is really great though, if you like fighting games. That was the first game I bought for the XBox. They kick high!

Ghost Recon is cool, I picked it up this weekend. Squad based military game... very neat stuff. So far Tom Clancy is 2/2 in the XBox title department with that and Splinter Cell.

Its one of the smartest games I’ve ever seen made. Chicks dig it because the game play is totally aimed towards chicks, but the guys dig it because of the hot animated chicks. They knew what they were doing when they were making this game... But after a while the oogle factor for guys dies off and they are left with a game that sucks because the game play is totally aimed toward chicks. The only way this game is really fun for guys is if they are playing it multi player because then it becomes more competitive and fun for guys.

I got an Xbox and I’ve been thinking about buying it but I’m not too sure yet if its worth the cash because I don’t think I will hold a lot of replay value for me.

Yeah both Bakara & myself were suprised how hard I got into it. He came home from class last week to find me playing it and just stood there with this totally amused and amazed look.

Is there anything in this game worth buying for the menz? I'm not exactly sure I want to buy a game solely to see animated chicks prancing around. If spank material is all you're after, it's much easier (and better) just to spring for a pr0n DVD.

I have an Xbox and 2 or 3 games on it to blow some shit up or kick peoples asses when im pissed off at or dont feel like playin EQ. Most fun competitive game with friends is Def MKdeadly alliance, thats a motherfuckin badass fighting game, 2 different real martial art fighting styles n weapon on each char and badass moves, heh we sit there for hours putting 20$-50$ bets on games

That's not what was meant by my comments. I was saying that the chicks in this game were obviously designed to attract horny boys. Games of that type are usually girl repellants.

If I had an Xbax I would probably buy this game anyway.

There just aren't many games out I want to buy.

Hell I have a PS2 mod chip'd and a DVD-R....and I still can't think of any games I want ATM. And your probably thinking "he must have a huge collection"....I have Zero games atm. I had 5 games (all legal) but they turned up missing last time I went to go play one.

I just get so tired of the racing games or fighting games....it's like they keep putting out the same 5 games over and over again for the last 10 years.

Or maybe this is just the first sign that I'm getting too old for this shit.

I think I've watched too much anime. I'm completely immune to even noticing pale white scantily clad women with perfect skin, massive breasts and ludicrously small waists.

I love the character design in the DOA games. All the women have different personalities and the animators pay attention to matching their body language to it. The male fighters lack charisma but they are just there to beat the shit out of anyway.
