They flubbed the last second or two of the video, otherwise it was good. I just hope Norml doesn't get too hungry and start rolling out with inflamatory videos. I've been a supporter of their work ever since I got a free T-shirt of theirs just for buying an issue of High Times!

I wouldn't say "flubbed." That bit looked like one of those deliberately self deprecating "bloopers" designed to inspire endearment with the viewer. You see that a lot in all kinds of media.

I really don't expect decriminalization, let alone legalization, to happen any time soon, but I do think both will happen eventually. There's just no logical basis for this country's position on cannabis, and I don't think it can be sustained as mainstream people's attitudes about it relax.

A strong message shouldn't need gimmicks.

I don't disagree with that, I was just pointing out why I don't think it was "flubbed."

I would rather have seen it end with Kevin Federline busting out a hip hop weed fact, but they probably already had that demographic covered.

Legalization would be a great way to jump start the economy. Just have the govt start growing and selling pot it. The only downfall is that drug dealers would be upset that the govt would be stealing their business.

But who's going to pay for their ammunition if not the US illegal drug consumers?...

*Edit - I have no problem with Marijuana's use by responsible adults, beyond that it directly finances crime. I don't care what your excuse is, you can't evade that argument unless you're growing you own. Medical users might be the only other exception, depending on the source.

Your statement makes a great point for marijuana regulation.
