at Jimmy John's. I'm a freaky fast delivery stud.

This is easily the most fun I've had at a job. I work the night shifts on the weekends, so living in a college town, many of those I deliver to are hammered or working on it. At houses, people offer me shots, chugs, beers, hits, and everybody's always happy to see my shitty car roll by with the JJ sign on top. If people gesture towards me impressively (sometimes they pretend to jump out in front of the car), I'll put it in neutral, rev the engine and beep my weak horn to assert my Jimminance. It's a lasting impression.

My coworkers are just stupid (slash hot) enough that my bosses like me and my bosses are just smart enough that I like them.

If you've ever seen the movie American Beauty, Kevin Spacey's character is the exact same way. He has a good job with decent pay but he feels dead. So he goes back and gets a fast food job and is happier. He's reliving that college experience as well.
I'm a teacher now, but I can honestly say my favorite jobs were the menial ones I had when I was younger. They weren't high stakes by any means, and having co-workers my own age made the job so much more fun. And you're right; having hot co-workers makes work time and parties that night more enjoyable by far!

I usually get the #13. But I haven't been there in over a year since I no longer live 2 blocks away. Qdoba either since it was right next door to JJ!

Beach Club is the best club because it has jimmy avocado pulp, which is ridiculously delicious. When I make a sub during work, I liberally spread the pulp. It's fiercely addictive, too. I'll eat other foods and imagine how an avocado infusion could make them better.

The best delivery scenario is the jam session. I've played guitar in many houses now. It doubles as the likeliest time I'll get to smoke, as well as the best way to meet friendlies.

I'm learning that the best way to get a sick tip is by being funny.

We call a JJ Gargantuan with bacon a Mangantuan. I think I'm the only person who's ever ordered it. It was about 4 pounds and very difficult to eat, for reasons including: 4 pounds, sloppy oil and vinegar sauce throughout, sheer protein bulk was unappetizing after about 1 of 8 inches.

Aslanna, the #13, while a vegetarian club, is LOADED with calories (and avocado, yum), and for some truly American reason has EIGHT slices of cheese. When ordered on wheat bread, it's half a foot tall.

Yeah I looked up the nutrition info but it's tasty. And I like cheese! According to here it's: 1141.31 cal/70.21 g fat/7.25 g fiber/78.72 g carbs for the #13. I usually got the french bread though as I don't like the wheat slices. If it was a wheat bun perhaps I would have gotten it on that.

Also, I have to say.. I got a tuna sub once there and it was the worst tuna I've ever had. Truly terrible and I never ordered it again!

I've always said I'd sack grocercies before going back to a career in the finance industry. I was a checker at Kroger in high school and the days where I had to do a little sacking was some of the most stress free work ever.

I love my job now, but if I ever found myself unemployed for awhile, I'm totally not above getting a temporary job sacking groceries or working checkout. Absolutely no retail or crappy office job where I'm expected to dress like I'm making more than I really am.

Wife and I each had a #9 last night with a bag of Jap Chips. Love the bread.

My girlfriend and I both get the #14 I think? Turkey and roast beef. Love that sandwich. I've also tried the huge sandwich, whatever it's called, once. It was great but I probably gained like 10 pounds. I had to eat it in two shifts, lol.

I usually get the salt & vinegar chips. Tasty!

So does my girlfriend. I like the jalapeno chips, they are perfect. Fuck, I'm gonna have to go get JJ for lunch now

This reminds me of my days at the pizza shop, where the only stress was figuring out where to get plowed that night and who to plow. Of course, it came with feelings of inadequacy sometimes (like WTF am I 26 and working in a pizza shop!?) But if I were to get fired today, it'd be nice to go back for a brief stint, and I still have some friends (read: weed dealers) there. also, hot chicks

wow, this sounds like so much fun I might just take a night job for the hell of it!

Imagine fucking around all night with zero worry about getting fired because you're not there for the money.
