Post-PoP I remember liking Secrets of Faydwer but that's when mudflation really hit. Or maybe that was Seeds of Destruction. I seem to remember liking both of those expansions.
House of Thule I also remember liking at least as far as the group/multibox content went. The raid stuff was a bit meh.
A lot of expansions I couldn't tell you what the zones or bosses were.
Update from my last post since there has been 3 more 'expansions' since then...
Torment of Velious (December 18, 2019)
Claws of Veeshan (December 8, 2020)
Terror of Luclin (December 7, 2021)
The sad part about these expansions is that they are gouging their existing players. If you want any of the cool items expect to pay a minimum of $70... And they go all the way to $250.
And they are still charging $15 a month. When they lost me was when I was unable to renew my $99/year rate, which I had been doing for YEARS, because my credit card was stolen and I ended up getting a new number. The geniuses over in the billing department refused to give me the rate I had so instead of getting $99 a year from me they ended up getting $0. The only reason I came back after that was there was a Black Friday deal for something like $50 a year and I did 2 years.
I think they even did a $300 Lifetime membership a few years ago that almost tempted me but that would have been a waste of money since I no longer play the game.

"Current expacs"
The nostalgia baiting is real. Kunark, velious, luclin all revisited, and split into 2 expacs.
It works I guess, I mean, I'm having fun. Guess that's all that matters.
Loot is easy to get, but that aa farm... tens of thousands of aa to farm, at 1-3 aa per kill. It's a grind. And the pop really doesnt know how to EQ. Everyone is off doing thier thing with their crappy box groups, so the group game is deader than a doornail. Got a small group of people i can duo-trio with regularity, but as far as getting the instanced missions done (where all the loot is) that shit is unheard of outside of guild groups.
With my decade in eq2, thats all eveyone did... spam LFG to run the missions... so it just feels so wrong to me now that nobody does it here. Too set in there ways I guess... camp a static spawn for hours to get one item, instead of running a mission in 15 mins to get 4 or more.
I need more frenz. Log on you asshats.

Re: Decade of decadence
Back in my day it was like an hour for a single AA! Probably longer. It's been too long for me to remember for sure.
But yeah with a boatload of AAs added every expansion it can make you feel quite a bit like Sisyphus.
