Best album of 2008?

I hate to go with what RS picked, but for me my favorite was TV on the Radio's Dear Science. Close second would be Metallica's Death Magnetic. Beck's new album was pretty good too.

My first choice would have been David Guetta: Pop Life but that came out at the tail end of 2007... So I guess I'll have to go with Kaskade: Strobelight Seduction.
I don't think that many (any?) posters here listen to house or trance.

I wouldn't say it's the best album of the year, but my favorite of the year was Michael Franti's All Rebel Rockers. I also like My Morning Jacket's Evil Urges quite a bit, too
