My friends and I are moving servers and starting a new guild in WOTLK, and we need a name. Post your suggestions here. Started this in general since you don't need to play WOW to make a suggestions.

Lonesome Losers

Then you could recruit by asking.

"Have you heard about the lonesome losers?"

I really like some of these. Wish I could do a VV inside joke, but I doubt my friends would go for it.

What I am looking at currently:

<Fair and Balanced> - various jokes
<Original Mavericks> - This was my 3 v 3 team name, and we had at least 2 people log over to rage on us about our name
<Featuring T-Pain> - the name I want, obviously awesome
<Prepubescent Emo Kids> - probably too long =(, original was <prepubescent emo fags> but i bet it wouldn't make it through wow filters
<Vanna White Fan Club> - likes this for some reason
<Fluffy Bunnies> - inside joke that would work!
<Angry Momma Walrus> - made me laugh
<Rainbo in the Dark> - I'm all for Dio references

Questions/comments about other guildnames:
<Racist Homosexuals>- would do this if we could get away with it
<Ted Club> - just brought back so many memories
<Fries of Heppun> - would be weird since the plan is to transfer to black dragonflight horde, where FOH exists currently
<MeRkIn> - don't get it?
<Marvin Gardens> - any particular reason why? All I could think of was it was a place in monopoly i think.

Keep them coming!!!

Oh, well I like some of them (such as Ted Club), but my friends wouldn't get them, and explaining an inside joke makes it unfunny.

<Intolerant Fairies> would work, I just like the name because of how racist/homophobic the general wow population is.

Some of those are pretty shitty.

Then again, it is a fair sampling of what you see in all MMOs, so sure, why not.

The only guildname I have seen in EQ2 that I got a kick out of was:

<Leet Roofing>

I really wish I had paid attention to ping times in WoW, for some reason I never thought it'd matter that much. On the 2 servers I play on right now, I have 100-200ms ping. I logged onto BDF because an IRL friend mentioned that it was hosted in Boston or something and I had 20ms ping prime time EST and it made me frown.

I don't think ping would make me become an overnight 2.4k Arena junkie, but I swear to god it's annoying when you try cheap shotting somebody and end up running the duration of the stun to where they are now *actually* stunned. Or kicking for interrupts. Thinking you're out of LoS of the Mage, or fake casting only to get caught doing a fake cast! Going back to kicking for interrupts... actually seeing the interrupt message and being feared anyway...

We have a rogue in our guild that lives in Brazil and runs at >1k - 1500 MS constantly.

He's our top dps. Well he was before 3.0.2 anyhow. :p. Although to be fair he's our only dual warglaive rogue.

The strange thing about BDF...Everyone I have ever had check their (so my entire 15 personish guild) has a good ping, no matter where they live. No one from a different continent though, but still, my ping isn't nearly as good on other boston data center servers (and is worse on all the others).

PVP + rogue + bad ping = frustration (or the consistent lag in arena right now), so it definitely helps.

Yeah, it's easier to deal with a bad ping in PVE than PVP, but it would still suck.
