Problems with my GEforce 9800 GX2

Let's see if anyone here can help me, I am having zero luck with finding any support for this on the internet.
Okay, so here is what I have right now. I have the graphics card of course, a Asus P5N-D MB, A Cooler Master 750W power supply. A Q3900 Intel Quad Core Processor.
I believe to the best of my ability that everything is correctly hooked up. When I power on the sucker everything is green and going. But soon thereafter the graphics card beeps once, and a Blue light comes on next to the HDMI output. Twenty to thirty seconds go by and the machine goes cold.
Anyone able to shed some light on what the problem may be? Thanks in advance.

The two lights help indicate which graphics card is the primary card and if you have the proper power connections attached to it. In this picture the green light indicates that we have both the 8-pin and 6-pin connections attached up while the blue light tells us that this is the primary card that the display should be connected to.
The computer shuts down once it starts, or the video card shuts down? Also, is this a new build, or just a new card? It sounds about like something I ran into with a PS issue, and I saw a couple things that "could" apply online regarding the board too.

Sounds like your PSU can't handle the card, what kind of PSU do you have?

Cooler Master 750W was mentioned in the original post

The light on the back of the 9800GX2 is the power indication light. Your powersupply is having an issue powering the card, or your motherboard is not supplying enough through the PCIx slot.
Try hooking some things up differently to the power supply. I see the powersupplyl on Newegg and there appears to be a shitload of cables on that thing. You need to figure out which 12V rails feeds which 12V connectors...and do the following:
12Vrail #1: Hard drives
12Vrail #2: DVD drives and case fans (any other 4 pin molex connections)
12Vrail #3: first PCI express connector to card
12Vrail #4: second 8pin pci express connector to card
Again, I'm assuming you have the coolermaster 750w shown on Newegg that says it has 4 12v rails. Just rearrange some cables, or leave some components unconnected to the power supply and see if the card works then.
If you have to disconnect things for your 9800gx2 to work perfectly, well, your powersupply did 1 of 2 things: 1) Coolermaster lied, and there is NOT 4 different 12v rails, or 2) the powersupply is trash and needs RMA'd
