Yeah, I'm sure I've seen that picture before, too. Even so, something like that wouldn't surprise me around here, especially if you get outside of town a bit (though it would certainly be out of the ordinary). Then again, it wouldn't surprise me to see it in Indiana, Kansas or New Mexico, either. The picture seems more like it was taken at a race or a concert or something with people just standing around. I average about 1 trip to Walmart every two years or so, but I've never noticed a crowd just standing around outside. People are usually rushing around to do their business.

According to the poster, they have some kind of flea market outside of this Walmart. That supposedly is where the pic was snapped....since it was posted on the intarweb it has to be true.

Did a quick search on that and found a lot of sites that posted that exact pic last year.
