Pass along a song game

Post by Sueven »

All right, here's the way the game works.

The first person to go (that's me!) posts a song that they like. The next person LISTENS to that song (which means that you shouldn't pick obscure songs... pick stuff that can be found via YouTube or something similar... and it would be helpful if you'd post a link), posts a brief reaction ("liked it," "it sucks," "needs more cowbell," etc), and then posts their own song. Then the next person goes. And so on.

I'll start:

A little too poppy. Really simple instrumentals for the most part. Catchy as hell, sung masterfully. Reminds me of Jet + Beatles for some reason.

Iron and Wine - Naked as We Came

A Christian band. Remarkably amazing. I learned the guitar part a few weeks ago. It's really fun to play.

I've never heard Iron and Wine referred to as "Christian" music before. Amazing song, I love the simple guitar part. Not sure who the female vocalist is but her voice goes really well with Sam's. When I saw him on tour, he was his own roadie, which made me like him more.

That was very pretty. She's got a great voice, but I think she inhales too loudly.
