Deities?

Post by Canelek »

Do these factor in at all? Was reading something about this somewhere, but didn't see the how or why part. Worthwhile? If so, who do I need to talk to to sign up for the <insert whatever god name> newsletter?

Not doing your deity stuff is like throwing away free money. 3rd quest gets you your pet with an appropriate stat buff (int for sol ro, str for zek, etc) and 4th quest gets you a cloak you will usually be hard pressed to replace until far end game.

Pyrella - Illusionist - Leader of Ixtlan on Antonia Bayle

if you were walking around and you came upon a tulip with tits, would you let it be for the rest of the world to enjoy.. or would you pick it and carry it off to a secluded area to motorboat them?

Thanks! I went over to EL docks at lunch and picked up Bristlebane line. Looks like a bunch of assling pie-making quests, but I will manage. :D

I finished up to the last step last night--much running around.

Quest guide says that lvl70 part needs a minimum level of 65 to enter instance, so about 1/2 level to go. :)

After the trick the goblin had you do on the guy by the avatar didn't work, I didn't figure out how to get the next step (granted I only spent about 45 seconds trying) so thats where I am at now.

I think you talk to the pie lady after the goblin and then the guy by the alter, or vise versa. It is all between those 3 NPCs until the next step, where you are sent to Kelethin, Antontica and Butcherblock.

I still haven't forgiven them for making Cazic such a crappy deity to worship! A lizard man pet? Really?

Cazic sucks. Despite being my deity in EQ1, he still felt the need to wield Ykesha against me. :(

I think the Seventh Hammer is the only deity in EQ1 we DIDN'T Kill (Maybe E Marr, I don't think she was ever put in game, but we DID kill Karana before they made him non-attackable)

We never killed Tunare because we had a bunch of unicorn-lovers. :D

Oh, so I finished the Bristlebane series right after I dinged 69. It was pretty fucking easy! It is nice to have the extra 27 or so AGI from Bovineosaurus (Jello, Beloved of Bristlebane). The cloak is pretty cool too, even when it lands on goblin form. :)

Only thing I thoguth sucked about Bristlebane was his mircales cost so much more than the other choices....Marr had some decent ones and was about half the faction cost.
