NFL Rookie of the year

Has Peterson lost it by running out of gas?

88 yards a game as a feature back doesn't do it for me, I thought there was no way he wouldn't be but at this point how can you take the last 1/4 of the season off.

I agree, give it to Nick Folk!

Seriously though, he was splitting carries with Chester Taylor for what, half the season or longer? He broke the single game rushing record and is third in rushing yards this season. He's also got 12 touchdowns - by a running back, the league average is 2. What else does a rookie have to do to win the damn thing?

It would never go to him, but Joe Thomas deserves a lot of consideration. A rookie offensive lineman who has only allowed one sack all year, and that came in the blizzard last week.

Have more than a hundred ten yards in his last 3 games combined?

Have the energy and health for a 16 game season? (Priest Holmes 2.0, much improved and just as prone to breaking your heart)

Learn to catch the fucking ball?

Joe Thomas is a good call.

Patrick Willis is an even better call.
