Does anyone use a UI modification? If so, can you recommend a useful one that has been regularly updated after patches? I have used UI mods in both EQ and WoW - some were pretty darn useful although they often broke after patches and the original author sometimes abandoned them.

Re: UI Mods
I just use EQ2Map. It can make it difficult to locate items in some zones, but you should be able to narrow down locations with the in-game filters.

Re: UI Mods
EQ2 Map updater is the only UI addin I use.
I've tried dozens of other UIs and custom bits but I always end up going back to the default UI.

Re: UI Mods
I use EQ2Maps (it's really a must-have), a custom group window where I added click-to-cure ability, and the Sage UI journal window (it has HQs and other items).
While not a UI mod, one thing I highly suggest that you do is make a macro in EQ2. It should be a command macro that opens up your browser favorites. Makes it quick and easy to reference whatever EQ2 material you need. Format is /browser <PATH>
