At least he got a two game suspension for this nonsense. The fan, a lifetime suspension (which isn't that big a deal since the scottish league is a joke w/ regards to parity).

One of the hosts on the fox soccer report was funny stating, "so apparently he first got tapped...and then he got shot".

I see the fan lightly slaps his face, he runs for 5 feet and then falls over like he's hurt... but what are the implications of this? Did he lie there and claim injury? What's the deal?

The fan never even touched the face, just a brush against the upper chest. He was eventually carried off in a stretcher so he must of claimed injury.

Yeah, that was the crazy part. It wasn't like he just flinched as he turned around to see a fan charging him. He actually turned to start chasing the fan, and THEN fell to the ground. The announcers were later saying that just this wasn't a really big deal, but the fact that he continued to play it out until he was carted off of the field is where things went too far.
