Saw a flame this morning that for some reason tickled me. So I thought I might get some of you guys to post the flames that you think are really top notch.

For example:

The following was a reponse to someone yet again asking a question that had been asked in 10 threads already:

You are obviously too stupid to continue converting oxygen and various carbon compounds into useable energy and assorted byproducts. I expect that, at any moment, you will implode as the mass of your ignorance reaches some sort of critical threshold.

and that made me laugh. Tell us your favorite flame.

Ya, when you compare someone to a poster everyone hates it's kinda funny. Kylere is right. But I think they are rather uncreative.

I do like the one about "Beyond suck" and the original thread starter about "converting oxygen" as well....those were well crafted.

Kyoucan's flame quotes are the suck....those types of flames are ones you don't even hardly notice because they suck so bad. They would be good flames if you were say....6 years old. But most of the posters on this board have already seen those short, uncreative, vulgar, responses and are not that amused by it anymore....we already know the words fuck, shit, cock, etc...we aren't seeing anything new in your quotes kyoucan.

Now some flames where they make new pairs of words you are seeing for the first time can be funny...like calling someone an ass clown or cock stain. Those are semi creative...THE FIRST TIME. I had to put it in caps for kyoukan =p

Not saying cussing is immature...just saying uncreative...an overused string of cusswords is not going to go down as an all time great flame.

Funny, I could have sworn that post you quoted was an "example" of a flame in response to someone with a sarcastic comment about the definition of a flame. Unless someone is out there stealing flames, and that's just not cool.
