I want to upload the Kidz in the Hall cd on demonoid.com, but I know a lot of people are very picky about bitrates, etc when it comes to mp3's. I want to know what software/what I should do to ensure that the mp3 files I am uploading are the best quality I can make them. Thanks in advance for any help!

I can't specifically recommend any particular program, but you can change settings on many programs to get what you need. Even iTunes has a setting for up to 320kbps, but that is nowhere near the default

Just make sure you include the bitrate used in your description on demonoid so you don't get chewed out for posting shit.

If you want the best quality go with a lossless format (such as flac). Regardless you probably want to use
EAC. If you stick with MP3 then go 320kbps CBR. 192kbps at the minimum.
http://jiggafellz.isa-geek.net/eac/ if you're not very techincally competent. All sorts of screenshots and info on configuring it.
