Mahindra

Anyone know anything about this company? From the little I can find they look like decent vehicles, the SUV model is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. The 4 door PU looks good too.

Pretty much the first company that has a non-foofoo small\medium sized truck\SuV with a decent diesel in it is going to get my next new car purchase. Jeep had the right idea with the CRD Liberty but didn't execute very well, for one they picked the wrong target market for the vehicle. The new diesel offer they have will do worse.

I was looking at XTerras, but the gas mileage got worse in the 2007 models and scratched them off the list for now. Nissan apparently uses Renault diesels in many parts of the world. A diesel XTerra would be perfect for what I want it for, light towing, limited commuting, hauling fishing stuff, etc..

I like the look of the pickup, curious what the towing capacity is:
