Lets summarize:
Big action movie, lots of special effects, BUT noone have heard about it 2½ month before release.
Looks from the trailer to be all effect, no plot.
Some dragons look like snakes
Noone i know on cast list.
Dont from trailer seems to have anything new or original.

Looks fairly decent to me, not theater decent unless I am just looking to get out of the house. But, I will certainly be picking up the rental.

Ultraviolet and Aeon Flux previews/trailers looked way more awesome.. and they had well known actors (an oscar winner!) and writers, bigger budgets and in the case of Ultraviolet, a director who's previous movie was an absolute gem.


Dragon Wars has D list korean actors and a director whos previous efforts included comically bad giant reptile movie and a power rangers rip-off. It has a big budget so the CGI is probably quite good, but I'm pretty sure this movie will be absolutely terrible.

This movie is unspeakably bad...

The dialogue and acting was just awful.
The special effects and CGI were crappy except for last fight...

It was on par with Uwe Boll's films... in so much as the only reason to watch it is to see how bad it really is.
I liked the scenes where you can spot crewmembers off to the side and boom mics and lighting equipment in the background.

A friend of mine had a screener of it and wouldn't stop talking about how hillariously bad it was.... You really have to see it to believe it.
