do you remember having as a kid?

The one I remember was from Robin Hood (Disney Animation Movie). Lots of brown paper bag lunches too! I remember breaking a glass thermos or two as well!

So, what lunchbox were you toting around as a kid? I expect to see lots of Transformers, Carebares, and He-Man responses!

I'm sure this was Sylvos' lunchbox!

Maybe this was Arb's!

I had the Wayne Gretzky lunch box when he was with the Oilers. I think my next one was an Optimus Prime one, I'm not too sure though.

I don't remember. But I think Scooby Doo, too. Had a few. Started with metal but towards the end of my lunchbox-era they were plastic. Red I believe!

I collect scooby doo stuff, so I have one of those now. But when I was a kid I don't think I ever had a lunch box.

It's been too damn long. I just can't recall. It might have been a Six Million Dollar Man lunch box. Maybe.

I can't really remember, but I know it was metal...I think that I had at least one A-Team, and I remember a red and blue...spider-man or superman.

I had a lunch pail painted like a school bus. Instead of being square, it was rectangular with a arched lid. It was aces, the thermos snapped into the top, leaving the entire bottom free for snacks. Also, it was METAL, not plastic. As this one kid found out the hard way when he made a grab for my brownie.

I have my circa 1967 Superman Lunchbox still proudly displayed on my bookcase -

Beaten to hell, but fully intending to give to my son when he starts school in a few years

Empire Strikes Back I think...maybe A New Hope. Metal, so after getting beat up pretty good (once on an annoying classmate's head), it didn't quite close right. Brown bags later on....

My first lunch box was an Adam-12 box. I had Six Million Dollar Man and Star Wars lunch boxes, as well as several others that I can't remember now. I also had a black, arched lid box like Masteen school bus box. I switched permanently to brown paper bags around 5th grade or so.

as a kid I only had plastic ones. I don't think metal ones were allowed, probably some safety scare or some similar horseshit.

on my 18th birthday, I gave myself this lunchbox. I bought it at the antique store down the street from the motel I was living at in Deming, NM for like $5.

I still use it fairly regularly to take my lunch in. :) It's one of the favorite things I own.

Marylin Manson collects lunch boxes.

I remember that whenever I went school clothes shopping, the last thing on the list was my lunch box. I looked forward to it every single year. I had a Garfield plastic one (yellow), but prior to that I had metal ones every year. I can't remember any of them for the life of me, but I do remember they were always either comic or space themed. Maybe a Battlestar Galactica? Disney's The Black Hole? Man, that's going to bug me now...

I knew a girl in class that had The Secret of Nhim lunch box and I was always envious.
