From Scooters to Motorcycles

Post by Moonwynd »

Well, I decided to get my first official motorcycle. I have been riding on two wheels for many years now. Right now I have three 2 stroke scooters (a 68 Lambretta, 76 Vespa, and 04 Stella) that I enjoy quite a bit.

I went through the MSF course several years ago and I have my class M license. I have ridden my friend's Hayabusa several times - to be quite honest ...it is a nice bike...but not my style and a little too much bike for me.

After much consideration I have decided to purchase (I ordered it yesterday) a Royal Enfield Electra Classic

I've been trying to find a Norton in my area here for a few years now. Tough to come by. I wouldn't mind a replica to pass the time on though! Looks great!

I am a sports bike rider for sure but that one is NICE! Good choice for sure, congrats!

As for the Busa.. not my cup of tea. Excellent long distance fast cruiser but I like twisties!

Looked at those a year or so ago, supposed to be a well made bike.

You know there is a reason the Indians started to export those to the US a few years back? none in India wanted to buy one!
