I can only play in the AM after I get out of work, and it bothers me that they feel the need to bring the servers down several times a week right in the middle of my play time. I don't play every day, but certainly most days the server comes down cutting my play time short by an hour....

They reset zones and databases as well as patching hotfixes.
It's been like that forever.


If you play primarily during the morning/afternoon (EST), you could try playing on an EU region server.

I realize that it's been that way forever, but once a week seems like it should be enough, with the exception of emergencies. They brought down Antonia Bayle, including today, 4 times this week (and I don't know about Monday because I didn't play). That's a bit crazy. And the reason I play on the server I play on is because I have several RL friends that play on that one. They all have very different schedules from mine, but we still play together on the occasional Sunday/Monday night. Not to mention they talked me into trying the damned game in the first place, I'd hate to ditch after only a couple of months after they were trying to get me to play for a year and a half.

I had a couple hours before work each day during the week to play, and one thing that drove me nuts was getting those messages about the server coming down daily. I am guessing that it will change in the future as they find better ways to refresh/update the servers, just like it has in most other MMO's.
