It is better to have a battle between the Mets and Braves--I had figured it would be Philly in the mix instead.
That Bobby Cocks sure can find the young talent.

THIS IS A NL EAST DISCUSSION.
Although, for the past several years,it has been me trying to have friendly banter and K-Moll and Voro slavering about the Braves and their nifty chopping technique. Can we not have discussion without horrid bias?
Here, I will start:
Smoltzy - Dude fucking rocks, and worries me every time he faces the Mets.
K. Johnson - For a first timer at the 2-bag, I am impressed thus far--the Braves are far and beyond what I (and many others) had expected from them this season.
Phillies - hahahahahhahahahahahhaaaaa eat a dick Rollins
See, here is the thing--although I have a deep-seeded dislike for ATL, I do love the competition. respect. That is the deal. When it comes to the Skanks or the cheesesteaky-knockoffs (or Dodgers, etc), well, they can just go off and fuck themselves.
The NL East is not what it was on paper, but having the top two at 21-12 is certainly good enough at this point.

I just wanted to add, I loved Franco when he was in Texas. I watched him growing up.
The Rangers can suck my nuts though.

Crumbleina. I think I was less embarrassed in the 90s.

Unless Minaya can pull multiple rabbits out of his hat, the Mets are fuckered for a while. This team SEEMED like they had what it took....that is, until August hit. They fell apart, in a big way. Wow. *hangs head in sadness* Looks like I get to watch several overrated rookies get their shot next year.fuck....

Let me bitch right now about Andruw "Crisco" Jones and the 3 idiots we called the back-end of ther rotation. Fuck you Crisco. I hope you go somewhere and stink it up for another decade in the AL and finish in last every year.
I hope to God that JS comes up with at least one more quality starter for next year. One more guy that can actually win and Hampton coming back could be huge. We already should have one hell of a bullpen with Gonzalez coming back, Dotel, Soriano, the impressive Moylan with a year of experience. Hudson and Smoltz both pitched very well all year....but absolutely zero run support for Smoltz cost him about 6 wins....again. After that, there was just nothing for starting pitching.
