Is this a good deal or a piece of shit?

I'd personally be reluctant to drop $300 on a no-named HD vendor in an external enclosure.

The Seagate 750GB 7200.10 drives (SATA and IDE) were on sale for $229.00 with no rebate bs required last week at Fry's so prices are dropping.

Must be regional.. Was $249 yesterday at the Fry's I visited. I did pick one up though as they were on sale for $219. I'd personally just get two of those over what was listed in the original post.

(Oh nevermind missed the 'on sale' in your post. So they've gone down $10 since then!)
