Networking 2 PC's with Vista and XP

I recently set up a second PC in my office so I can do things while I have a game client up without minimizing. Note I am a total fucking newb when it comes to this kind of thing. Anyway, I have Vista Prem running on my main PC and XP on my second. I have them plugged into the same router. I can surf the net on both PC's and TVersity that is installed on my second PC shows up under Network on Vista, but at first I couldn't see my second PC at all.
Recently my 2nd PC showed up under network. I have no clue why it does now and it didn't before, but whatever. However when I click on that PC on my main one, its asking me for a login/pass. I've tried varios combinations of my computer name and admin as a password, or no password (I don't have a password set), but it doesn't seem to be able to login. It keeps telling me incorrect login or password. What should I be putting in here, and can I disable it so I don't have to log in to file share between my two computers?
