I didn't see the fights, but I heard about them! I was positive it would go down the way it did.

Edit: I just watched the Cro Cop fight, he's going to be wearing the belt in that octogon some day.

Pretty boring night..

Mirko looked good but Rampage far less so and Silva looked... very very beatable... but that was a hell of an upkick from guard.

That was Eastmans best UFC fight that I have seen, I mean seriously that guy sucks. I was expecting a lot more from this Rampage guy that is supposed to be the next title holder.

Mirko looked good, I would like to see him against a better opponent as well in his next fight

I thought the pride music was a bit cheesey to use in ufc. More like saying "I am a pride fighter" rather than saying "I'm Mirko fucking Cro Cop"

I think the fight card was fairly boring to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad to see Crocop and Rampage in the UFC, but I think they should have made their opponents a bit more interesting. I understand the marketing behind it. You don't wanna bring in a highly touted fighter and immediately pit him against a UFC superstar and have him lose. If he does well there goes a lot of interest in watching him fight. Now if he were to win it would be huge, but that's too big of a gamble to take with their first fight.

I agree Silva looked bad. Lutter had several opportunities to submit him and he didn't. I think the fact that Lutter didn't make weight was a big mental factor in his fight.

Crocop looks impressive to me, I like his stalking and those legs are freaking crazy dangerous!

Rampage cracks me up, I agree the fight wasn't that great, but I can understand him being nervous. Give him a few fights like he said and I think we'll be seeing a whole new fighter in there.

I honestly think this UFC was more of a prelude and warmup for things to come. Thanks for the links Kwon! Need more of those after future UFC's!!
