Geography Cup

Post by laneela »

It's funny. I consider myself to be more cultured than a lot of people in my age-group especially when considering the fact that I received my education in an American public school system. I've also always felt that my geography skills were above average yet I can't seem to score higher than 56% on this. It's fucking killing me.

Heh I haven't had a geography class since ermmmm grammar school and well the world map has changed a bit since then :)...Though I was always quite close...

I scored 20 something...:P

Of course I got Burundi, which was a bit unfair but I'll take those points...:)

I learned Burundi really quickly as 99% of the African nations are a complete guess (Morocco, Egypt, South Africa and Sao Tome & Principe being the only exceptions) and for some reason I clicked on it like 4 times in guessing!

Coincidence or destiny? You choose.

edit: play again!

61.5 / 62%.

It's fun. I'm going to play again.

New record: 85% after about 30 minutes. I retire.

I played 3 times.

Of those 3 times, the best score I got was 50. I would say well over half of the questions were either micro states, or island nations.

I lied about retiring. I finally got a perfect score after probably an hour of total playing. My average score is at 67.76. Now I retire.

Wow, I consider myself to be a lot more cultured than other people too!

Ahhh, I remember the days of long arduous geography lessons as Miss Priddy's Finishing School For Proper Girls. Brings back memories.

I'm unsure if I should register as Team USA or Team UK. I think I'll go with Team UK, not sure if I could bring myself down to the Team USA level!

Edit: Nevermind, it won't fucking let me register. CANADA HATERS.

The USA has caught up and taken the lead.

Laneela, I've been occassionaly going back and trying to get another perfect score to screenshot for you, and haven't been able to yet. I just now got the first 12 questions right and missed the last one. You might have to go proofless.
