How come everytime I call the Official NHL Store to order something I talk to someone with a very heavy Indian (You know, like Apu on the Simpsons) accent? Even more strange, is that their names are all like Dave or Dan or Linda... wtfux?

Xou all calls from the USA are directed to APU since the majority of calls regarding Hockey from the USA are usually "Where can I buy that small stick with a banana on the end and a dress?

Actually, I was calling to see when they would have CuJo items for sale in his new
RED WINGS uniform. Bahhaahahah!
No, that's not really why I called but I couldn't pass up a taunt like that since you're a Leafs fan.

I called them to find out why I got my Stanley Cup champions shirt I ordered, but not my hat!

If Hockey is 'Canada's game'...
Buffalo Sabres ownership reportedly attempting to move franchise to Hamilton... NHL not very happy.
Can you imagine, a sports franchise actually moving
TO Canada?

Sob, I love the Leafs, have since I was a little girl and my dad took me to a game they played against the Canadiens and that damn Guy LaFleur made them look so bad. Just had to root for the underdogs, and I've been doing it ever since. I still can't believe Cujo is gone. Still don't know which is sadder, losing $400.00 on the Leafs in the series, or Cujo wearing a Redwings uniform!
My brother has been a lifelong Redwings/Gordie Howe fan and he calls me at least twice a week to taunt me over the trade. I hate him

Well Marielle, if it makes you feel better - I would have rather had the Wings give Legace a shot, and have them sign another backup goalie instead of spending so much on CuJo... then they could have freed up some of that cash they spent on CuJo and used it in other places. (*cough* resigning Duchense for more than 1mil so he wouldn't leave*cough*)

Xou - you getting directed to the NHL's offices in New Yoik.
The Buffalo Sabres will never move to Hamilton unless 3 things happen:
1) the Cdn $ recovers from its current position (about $0.65 US) and gains some value
2) the population/corporate community of Hamiltion drastically increases. Ottawa, Edmonton, and Calgary are 3 examples of Canadian teams with more corporate sponsorship available to draw on and they are all struggling to survive.
3) Gary Bettman and the NHL head office renege on their word about wanting to keep the Sabres in Buffalo. There are reportedly 2 local groups who want to and are raising the capital to do just that.
Of the 3 I think the last is the likeliest, and even if they move, they'd prob end up in Houston or someplace similar.
BTW Xoo, taunting Leafs fans gets stale after a while: I mean how can you feel anything but pity for an organization that hasn't won a cup in 35 years?

rofl wulf, a good friend of mine is a diehard blackhawks fan. I don't tease him, look at how long it's been since THEY won a cup
I would've liked to have seen Legace get a shot too tho...
