Hey guys.. I'm having a bit of a problem with my wireless connection.

Over the last couple of days I've been getting some serious lag issues. In an attempt to try and figure out why I pinged my IP and noticed some abnormal response times. They were running up to 994ms per packet sent on all four packets.. I never had this issue before and I have no friggen idea why I'm having it now. I've run out of ideas to try so now I'm asking you guys. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Thanks,

not very likely at all to be your router (wireless or not) regarding bad ping times. just bypass the router to test it

Bypassed the router and came to the conclusion it's my cable service.. I called them up to find out that there is a "Message" on my account and that they need to contact me in the next 24-72 hours... tf is that bullshit?

If I had to guess, not knowing your knowledge level of securing your wireless setup.. perhaps someone was connecting through your router and doing something "bad". If they were gobbling up your b/w for example flooding out spam that would explain the increased lag as well as your ISP wanting to talk to you.

Other than that.. dunno!
