I am celebrating NOT having my son for 2 weeks !!! Thank you holiday season for letting him go see his mother for 2 weeks.
I am Celebrating life! I plan on relaxing , NOT having to clean 4 times a day
NOT cooking dinner if I dont feel the urge
Not getting up at 3am to just give him a hug and say I love you (ok I will still think that)
Not having to pikc up clothes from every corner of the house
Not having to run all the F'ng neighbor kids out of my house

OK I'll miss the heck of out of the lil guy , but Dammit I NEED a break every now and again too

Where are all the atheist votes going? I would like an explanation of how any atheist can celebrate the birthday of the son of the god that they do not believe in. REPENT HEATHENS! or take back those gifts and get your asses to work. You have no reason to stop the burger flipping on a religious holiday. Can I get an amen from the gallery?

Kilmoll, are you really so deluded as to think that Christmas has anything even remotely associated with the birth of Christ?

Well Kilmoll, I am not an atheist but an agnostic and I will tell you that I celebrate what my family celebrates, in order to spend time with them.

I don't go to the carol services or any church events, but I am there for the family/old friend visits and watching the kids go off the Richter Scale, bouncing in anticipation of what they have under the tree. I drove 6 hrs for the big turkey dinner that my mother does up. My mother, Sister and the kids can go to the Christmas Eve church services, and whilst they do Dad, My brother-in-law and I will have a beer or 2 and watch some hockey or something :p

Merry Christmas.

Christmas has transcended being just a religious holiday and has become a commercial holiday for many, many people. Just look at how many people on here that are agnostic/athiest and still celebrate christmas. (Self included.)
