It's snowing here as well, and even though I snowboard, I am not happy about it at all. It could be because I have been sick for over a week now and the cold isn't helping though.

Where's the "it doesn't snow here, and I'm so so SO very glad." option? :p

You goddamn Canadians can have it. Shit, here in MN the snow has been so little that it melts or freezes right away and snowboarding is no fun at all, so winter is pretty much worthless to me.

No option for us here in the south who like winter but almost never see snow. Winter is the season where I can spend more than 5 minutes outside without sweating.

Ironically, winter is when I do most of my outdoor exercising so I end up sweating anyway :P I'm actually going to Academy tonight to pick up a new pair of skates! We have a great park across the street with excellent paths.

Winter makes me energized!

Fuck snow and fuck cold.

It was 54 degrees this morning when I left the house to train. It'll get down to 30ish (at 5-6AM) when we actually have cold weather here and that'll be as cold as it ever needs to be.

Fuck snow and fuck cold.

Snow? Fall/Winter's looking good in AZ

Thursday 90°F (32°C) | 63°F (17°C)
Friday 84°F (29°C) | 69°F (21°C)
Saturday 80°F (27°C) | 65°F (18°C)
Sunday 87°F (31°C) | 64°F (18°C)
Monday 87°F (31°C) | 63°F (17°C)

We're almost out of the 90's!

Snow is for Eskimos and places that you visit, not for where you live!

You can have that hot weather shyt. I'm sick of it. much H8 for any temps over 75 degrees.

When it comes time for me to start looking for a new job, I'm seriously going to look at moving back to Anchorage.

I love winter. And I think I like snow but as I've never really experienced it, I can't be 100% sure. I will say this, yesterday morning was about 75° for the first time since March and I was loving it. I actually worked on the yard without breaking a sweat. Yay for winter!

Having been born & raised in Florida, and never having lived anywhere else.. I love winter. I hate heat. I've always said it's easier to get warm than it is to get cool (and cheaper too).

that's because you can always put more clothes on, but you can only take so many off!

I was looking for an option that I would like to see snow again, but not live with it for a season. One reason I left west Kansas was to get away from "winter." Now, winter here has seen 100 degree days last January.

i was thinking the exact same thing. furthermore, when the fucking weather channel says its going to be 64 today and i dress appropriately only to find that there are flurries all over campus, it makes for a bad day. :(

I love the first snowstorm of the year and seeing all the new immigrants in the ditches off the highway with their cars.

Lets not forget how nice it is to wake up snuggled under a mound of covers for a change too! Normally I'm just under a sheet & light blanket trying to keep my distance from a sweaty bf. :D

Winter is the greatest season of all.

I <3 the winter very much.

It's also the most comfortable season for me because I have a furnace inside of me as an extra organ. (seriously, touch me sometime, i'm always warm). So...that's a plus!

Dammit Truant, stop telling people that! You just want people to touch you in those naughty places! We shall not fall for it!

I love the darkness! And the smell of cold. That's the best part of fall/winter! I always get sad after daylight savings time when we fall forward and its light in the morning :(

I cross-country ski. I've only done downhill and snowboarding a couple of times. I enjoy cross-country a lot more because it's far better exercize, doesn't destroy your knees, and you can go off into the woods and through amazing, quiet meadows without seeing hundreds of other people all over the place. Very peaceful and fun, IMO. I completely understand why people love the rush of flying down a hill though, it's just not for me.

We got a small flurry today, huzzah! You're exactly right Sirensa, the crisp smell of a cold fall/winter night is great. And yes, it was great in high school when I'd walk to school and it was still dark out before daylight savings kicked in.

It's nice and cold here right now. My feet are cold, but I have a dog laying on them so it's all good.

I got my electric blanket out just so I could be warm and snuggly in my bed... with my windows still wide open!! :) (Course - it's not cold enough to snow here yet)

It doesn't snow here too often, but it doesn't take long to get to snowy areas! :D

It was oppressive living in LA for so long. Fuck that place (except for In N' Out).

I just hope the rain stays at bay until next month so I canget some good camping in....love the cold, but too much rain can make for a pita camping trip.

I love winter, I just wish it would snow MORE here in Washington State.

No I dont ski, I just like the crispness of it all.

If it is snow outside when the darkness has made it's annual arrival it's ok, but pretty often there's no snow in Stockholm, or very little, during the winter.

I used to water ski when I was younger, but when I went snow skiing a couple years ago, I hated it. For some reason my body does not respond well to the sensation of slipping down a steep and icy hill.
