I guess this goes in this forum. The background; O & A are going around the country with 8-10 comics who are regulars on the show. They each get ~20 minutes to perform a set which can make it a long for stand-up. The two shows prior to this one went smoothly regardless. However, this is the Philly audience. They were inebriated fuckups (just like they are at all of their sports events) who were booing really good comics who were actually doing well. Well, the comic Bill Burr just flipped his fucking lid and let the entire audience of 10k+ have it.

That was pretty brutal. I tried really hard, and I just cannot understand the mentality of the audience. He was viciously insulting them the entire time and they cheered, as soon as he mentioned their sports teams they started booing and crying like babies. Not to mention they brought that whole thing on themselves.


Anyways, kudos for him for sticking it out, if simply to say fuck you to philly.
