Do any of you from the Toronto area do anything for the film festival? I haven't been to any movies, alas I never do see movies during the festival, but the bar/party scene is a blast.

Here's a link for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about.

I'm not much of a star gazer, but the parties are great and the bars are open until 4:00 a.m. which may not be a big deal to some but when Toronto bars regularly shut the doors at 2:00 a.m. the extra couple of hours are appreciated.

I ran into Micheal Moore the other night at the bar in the Four Seasons Hotel. He's one of the few people that I wouldn't mind meeting. I thought about debating American foreign policy with him, him being a lefty and me... well, not being one, but decided I was too drunk... probably the right decision. So I just paid for my $10.00 beer, said hello and sat down to join my other drunk friends. Ten bucks for a bottle of beer is pricey but much better than the $56.00 martini I had there last year...

Anyhow, I was just wondering if anyone (Miir etc) gets out to enjoy the festival at all, or if you hate the festival or if you don't care that it goes on at all.

If you do not agree with Moore you will not be able to debate him. But Michael is the spelling.

Good question, but people to far on the fringes of the political system cannot seem to do it.

I read a study a few months ago that proved the areas of the brain that are normally used during debate go dark when people are hearing things that oppose their closest held beliefs.
