1. Alt-enter now puts EQ into windowed mode like EQW.

2. There's now a short-term buffs box so that buffs like bard song
are not in the same mix as actual buffs.


Supposedly 1 is still pretty buggy. No word on if the short-term buffs contribute to your 15 total or not.

I would think that it'd be kind of pointless for them to add an extra box for short term buffs if they did add to your 15 total. However, they have surprised us before...

short term buff box would be HUGE.

songs not counting towards your buff cap would be awesome, and a nice utility boost for bards. Watch it get exploited all to hell though so it gets nerfed back down.

I'd say watch for main tanks grouped with like 5 bards, but since no guild even has 5 bards, i wont carry on with the absurd idea...

A separate buff box for bard blinky buffs would also help with buff ordering for dispelling mobs, etc.

in theory, this would also mean that you could have a HoT spell cast upon you when you had 15 buffs.

Personally I don't see this happening.

There is also the downside of bard songs being in a different box. Bard songs were also convient for being dispelled by dispelling mobs.
Obviously having your own insta-clicks is best, but bard songs were nice for that too.

Actually Scott Hartsman mentioned a seperate box for short term buffs at FF. The implication was that these would not add to the regular total of 15...
