While not personally offended or concerned about it at my workplace, there are some who might not want that sorta thing on their screen.

I hate to be a "drag" and a "let down" and a "party pooper" about things, but I was raised as a good Christian and Miir's avatar is vary offensive to me. I was wondering if you could (politely!!) ask him to change to something a little friendlier; like maybe a kitten or a picture of the Baby Jesus being loved and exalted by all those around him.

Some things are just not appropriate for the internet and I feel that maybe this is not one of them.

AO is pretty tight now.

It's moving towards a more PvP-centric game model.
However, the PvP is totally voluntary. There is little in the way of ganking and PK is a term I've never seen thrown around.
You're told when you're entering a PvP area and given 15-60 seconds grace to get your ass out before other players can attack you.
PvP and land control offer decent player rewards (skill buffs).

They have added shitloads of content, there are 6 static dungeons (1 is solely for PvP) and over 20 raid/uber encounters.


Like any MMOG, it still has it's problems... lag, class balance, griefers and whiners... but it's still a damn fun game.
