Just adding this here since they deserve no good word of mouth exposure.
...and I still don't have the jersey I ordered. Tonight is the night I am supposed to drive across town to pick it up from the UPS delivery center.I would just like to keep your company updated as to the wonderful customer experience I have had regarding the order which I have copied into the note below. I originally ordered my product when it showed up as "Available" on July 10th. I have had numerous email contacts with your company in regards to the product not shipping when it did show up as available, and I have since been made aware that it was apparently a "Special Order" item. When ordering the product, I chose USPS as the delivery method because I know that I cannot get UPS delivery where I live. I knew that it would also cost more to use this option. The product finally shipped a couple days shy of a month after the order was placed, and from a call into your customer service center I was informed that it was shipped directly to me by Adidas via UPS. Please note that I mentioned above that I: a) cannot receive UPS deliveries where I live; b) paid extra for USPS delivery. When I was charged for my purchase, the price was not adjusted to account for the cheaper (for your company) delivery method. Also, my problems had just begun to grow as mentioned below.
My UPS nightmares are still not over. I made it home before they "attempted" delivery last night, and I made sure that I could hear the door when they arrived. I kept checking their website to track the package, and the delivery guy marked it as if he attempted delivery at 6:54 PM and nobody answered. I called their customer service line as soon as I saw that, and they sent some kind of message to the delivery center here in Austin in order to have someone look into it this morning. Lucky for me, a manager was still in the office and saw the message. I got a call back at around 8:00 from her to tell me that she saw my message and attempted to stop the driver before he left for the day, but he had already snuck out before she could catch him. I think the part that upset them the most was that if he HAD tried to deliver it, he was supposed to leave an "attempted delivery" notice on the door. There was no notice on any door in my building. After two or three more phone calls last night, we agreed that the best course of action would be me driving to the UPS center after work to pick the package up...now, this all depends on whether or not they loaded it onto the delivery truck this morning before it got pulled into the "will call" office. I went back to your site that I ordered from in order to check some prices since I was pretty sure that I was originally paying more for the USPS delivery instead of UPS. I was. Your company charged me to ship it via USPS which would have saved me ALL of these headaches, and it has been shipped it via UPS instead. Now, I get to sit in traffic after work and TRY to find the UPS office before they close. Oh, and have I mentioned that it will probably be around 100+ degrees when I do this?
The cost of this transaction continues to grow, and I have never received any kind of satisfactory explaination from your company as to why an "available" item has taken over a month to arrive when it was promised within 7-10 days.
