Backing up

It's been a long time since I've had to reformat my machine, and I feel it's time to with how terribly slow it's been running even after numerous defragments. So, I'm in the process of backing up the pertinent stuff. I was wonder how I'd go about saving my cookies in Firefox? It'd be great if I didn't have to re-enter every password and account I use these days. Yes, I'm lazy, suplise suplise.
