So what exactly is it that Canada day celebrates?
I do know that Detroit and Windsor always have a joint celebration every year between now and the 4th of July.

Canada day celebrates the day in which the different factions of the old British empire joined together to form one country.

Yeah, moved to Oshawa from Lark Harbour(West of Cornerbrook) in newfoundland. Hopefully going to be moving back within the next year or 2.

It is the same thing as independence day, only Canadians did not have to use terrorist tactics to achieve the same goals as diplomacy did.
