Google starting to get a bit too invasive for comfort?

Anyone else starting to be a bit uncomfortable that those google toolbars and other programs are coming in bundled with just about everything you download?

Now people that don't pay attention will have all of their files indexed by google, stored on the google servers and just waiting someone with malicious intent to start snooping through stuff.

No. If you're dumb enough to not deselect the checkbox during install, then you deserve anything that gets onto your computer.

Furthermore, your microsoft propaganda is harmless. Google is good, google is great, we surrender our will as of this date.

Actually that blog isn't from Microsoft, it's a ZiffDavis effort (industry news magazines/websites).

This is the blog that pertains to Microsoft. Foley's usually pretty neutral when posting news about teh MS, wether good or bad. She also mostly covers the business side of MS, not the entertainment/Xbox/MSN side.

They used to have a Google Watch but I guess Google didn't really generate enough content that wasn't covered by other blogs to make it worth keeping.

I hear that they replaced this motto with the theme song from The Apprentice.
